Preschool plays a vital role in the development of knowledge and skills in children. Learning in children start immediately after conception. Preschool helps in preparing kids for kindergarten, preschool form a way to experience growth, helps children learn self-care and caring for their peer, stimulates social and emotional development, promotes cognitive and language skills, gives boost of motor skills informs early decision making, forms the basis of structured environment for education as well as nurturing the curiosity in children. Kirp (2008), Maintains that time has come for the universal preschool. He argues that even though the education system that starts kindergarten through K-12 has led to significant innovations and knowledge development, children that have backgrounds from preschool have portrayed tremendous social and emotional skills.
