Leadership in an organization can be described with several frameworks. The most applicable leadership frameworks in the contemporary era are the transactional and transformational leadership styles. Transformational leadership style focuses on the concerns of the subordinates and require leaders to employ inspiration and intellectual stimulation to encourage them (Hoxha, 2019). The transactional leadership style emphasizes the accomplishment of the different objectives in an organization guided by a management structure (Hoxha, 2019). The transformational leadership style can be viewed as a leadership style concerned with the future or rather proactive while transactional leadership is only concerned with maintaining the status quo even if it means punishment of the subordinate, in essence, responsive leadership style.
