After viewing a few comic strips on the 3rd GOP debate, it was clear that the Republican candidates gave their best and won against the liberal media. However, most citizens expected that this debate would me more about how these candidates were preparing themselves to deal with national issues and how they were planning to implement solutions. It was disappointing to see a show that focused more on personality than national interests of the country’s citizens. The liberals posed different challenging questions that most people viewed as nasty attacks but the Republican’s ability to answer these questions was limited. Instead, answers received from the Republicans failed to clearly explain their future plans. The citizen’s emotions may be affected by the fact that even after winning the debate there was still underlying doubt in the quality of leadership that was expected if the GOP won the elections.
