Oedipus the King is one of the favorite plays I have read, may it be for classes or leisure.
The intriguing facts about the play are the manner in which each character exposes their personality and how they play multiple roles in the story line. Furthermore, each character is represented in the present and has a significant impact in the past or better yet knows critical information about the past. All the roles in the play are in a manner of speaking equally shared with no specific leading character, giving the play a balance, thus making it very captivating.
