At Nestle-Purina, a trade relations representative oversees an order processing from when the customer places the order up to when it is delivered to the customer (YouTube, 2009). In addition, the trade relations representative takes care of logistics such as dispatching the product from the truck, taking care of any problem that may arise with unloading and oversees return claims. All these logistics involve product processing and handling (YouTube, 2009).
A forklift operator is integral in order processing in several ways. First, the forklift operator is in charge of unloading materials from vehicles and trucks and storing/placing them in places assigned by the senior materials clerks. Secondly, a forklift operator is responsible for moving products and orders to crates or pallets to be stored or shipped. Finally, a forklift operator identifies any damage on the orders and immediately reports the problem to the trade relations representative (Choi et al., 2020).
