  • YouTube (Niche) – This social media channel is an alternative for modern television (Kidy, McGoldrick & Stockton, 2021).

    • Advantages – YouTube advertisements are affordable for companies compared to television commercials (TVCs). Businesses that could promote brands or campaigns through YouTube are more likely to encounter costs as pay-per-click (PPC; Feller & Burroughs, 2021). Besides, YouTube advertisements have a broader market reach and allow brands to customize the target audiences based on relevance (Sulhaini & Furkan, 2021).

    • Disadvantages – Unfortunately, businesses could not control the viewership of the audience. Audiences have the control to discontinue advertisements and engage in different content (Kidy, McGoldrick & Stockton, 2021). The lack of control could influence Coke's returns on marketing investments on YouTube.



  • Facebook (Niche) – The platform allows brands to set parameters and interact with the relevant target audiences (Chung & Kim, 2021).

    • Advantages – Facebook provides flexibility to brands while promoting the products and services among relevant audiences. Brands could set specific parameters related to content and audiences, which increase efficacy for market reach (Shi & Wan, 2021).

    • Disadvantages – Brands could not control the harmful contents, offending specific communities and viewers (Shi & Wan, 2021). The platform could devalue brand value for Coke.



  • Twitter (Niche) – Brands can schedule posts and content based on audience availability (Greene et al., 2021).

    • Advantages – Brands using Twitter could reach millions of related and unrelated viewers. Twitter engages people from different communities and business sectors (Oschatz, Stier & Maier, 2021). Coke can experience subliminal synergy using Twitter.

    • Disadvantages – Twitter is weak in controlling adversities, such as spamming. Audiences could report spam on uninterested tweets, causing brand losses (Oschatz, Stier & Maier, 2021). Coke must ensure interest and efficacy in the campaign while using Twitter.
