Negative Consequences of Misrepresentation of Facts in News Reporting

With this news presentation was for an Event Venue. I believe they were violating many ethical principles. The main point of the story was to show how an event venue was canceling events and not refunding money back to the clients. When in all reality the event venue worked with each individual client to reschedule or credit their investment until they were ready to move forward.
The story simply speaks on how horrific this is and took 2 clients out of thousands who were against the way the event venue handled business. Though there were legally binding contracts the event venue still went above and beyond to work with everyone outside the contract except a full reimbursement. Although they wanted to make clients happy, they also still had to maintain the business to continue to have events for other clients who were willing too.
The news report provides one section of the contract not the entire contract. They had 2 clients from different locations come to speak as if it was one place. They had one client tell her story as well. In my thoughts they failed because the intent of the new report was to prove how an event venue was doing clients horrible and not being flexible when it was the complete opposite. The event venue is still up, and events are still taking place within CDC guidelines.
