Creating a Project Folder to Store your Video Project
Organization of video editing is crucial.

Videos should be stored in the footage folder.
Every project should have the document structure shown above.
Creating a New Project in Adobe Premiere
Every time you want to start a video editing project use the file organization, including audio, output, footage, images, Premiere, and scratch disk.
The footage folder contains camera videos (“Creating a New Project in Adobe Premiere, 2022”).
Create a new project in Premiere.
Include all the folders in Premiere to form an interface.
You can add more folders, such as effects, as it deems fit.
Ensure to select editing.
Use the blue boxes to move around and change the sizes accordingly.
Importing Footage into your Premiere Project
Go to the project folder to import your footage.
Double-click and select all videos you need to import.
By placing the cursor on the videos, one can see what they contain (“Importing Footage into your Premiere Project, 2020”).
Ensure you are organized when working on the project folder.
Create a camera footage folder inside the bin.
Create a bin for sequences.
Bins help a person to organize himself or herself inside the footage folder.
Previewing and Adding Footage to a Sequence
You should use an icon view to open videos in the Camera folder.
Maximize the project window for a good view.
Use Freeform view so that you can grab different clips and move them where you want.
