Framing Britney Spears: They did it again and again!
Framing Britney Spears is a documentary highlighting the breakthrough and setbacks of the pop star Britney Spears. The documentary mainly aims to tackle issues regarding conservatorship. In particular, the documentary shows the mishaps she experienced because she is a woman and a celebrity. Spears is a celebrity who has an established career with numerous top-hitting songs and records. However, despite her top songs and performances, she is still a woman who faces several challenges because of the people around her. Britney has been a victim, and it was done to her by people repeatedly. People used her weaknesses and troubles to earn money and fame. The documentary has shown how people benefit from Britney as an artist and a woman who suffered mentally (Stark, 2021). In all, Britney’s public is an example of a public nightmare.

The manager of Britney founds this video as revenge for her.
Another reason for sexism is the media. In interviews, Britney has been questioned about her clothes, virginity, body, and other issues. Most interviews implied that Britney is a slut and cannot care for herself. An example of this instance is when Diana Sawyer interviewed Britney. Diana has posed provocative and direct questions to Britney. Diana questioned Britney’s daring clothing. She also mentioned Britney’s breakup with Justin and accused Britney of being the cause of Justin’s suffering. Diana also said Britney’s other trials caused Britney to have a meltdown. This interview is just one example of how the media feeds the public lies and distorted truths.
Furthermore, the paparazzi have been highly critical of Britney. The paparazzi are all over her because she is a good topic, and her name s...
