According to Kanzah, (2013) studies show that companies who adopt sustainability practices that address environmental issues, societal issues, and workforce development positively impact short term efficiency and operations management. (Senge et. al 2008), the theme of the necessary revolution (TNR), is that we must stop being reactive in our solutions approach, merely seizing short term solutions, and move to deep thinking to make a difference really. This is because some human impacts of pollution, habitat destruction, and population growth may impact heavily on the ecosystems posing deleterious effects on the same ecosystem. Industries should seize the opportunities in Senge’s critics of problem-solving method of working from Cartesian view of reality that sees the World as things divided into parts and pieces that are not connected. Therefore, the systematic problem-solving method will be the one to outline how to create the partnerships that are needed to unleash the creativity that many people across the world and in all enterprises are holding back.
