Organization Conflicts: Walmart's Issue with Salary Grading Audits

Essay Instructions:

In summary, you are to find an organization that is having an issue that it has yet to resolve. It could be the employer of you or one of your teammates. You are to identify the problem and how the different organizational behavior concepts we have covered/are covering are either contributing to the problem or could be used to solve the problem. You should focus on fewer concepts at greater depth rather than a host of different concepts being briefly mentioned. You are encouraged to discuss more than one potential solution, but make sure you provide a single recommendation that your team agrees upon.
You need to make sure that the organization has a problem that fits with the organizational behavior of its employees, rather than its strategy, operations, investments, and such.
A formal report will be prepared by the Team. The report will be mechanically produced, uploaded onto Canvas (one per team), and employ the following format:
Title page: Case title, date prepared, team members’ names
Case Summary: a succinct summary of the case
Problem Identified: brief description of a problem (be sure it is OB related!)
Alternatives - identify up to three different alternatives or scernarios that may occur
Recommendation: which alternative does the team recommend and why. You may need to include:
Time lines for implementation
Evaluation of progress
Specific consideration of relevant financial conditions (how much will each step cost?)
Any other specific and pertinent considerations the team wants to include
Conclusion
Appendix (if necessary)
Bibliography
Writing style must be uniform and consistent throughout. This includes such considerations as Print Font, type of paper, page numbers, etc. Writing style must also reflect APA formats.
Please make sure to communicate with each other and work in your team collaboration space as I will be checking those from time to time to see how you are progressing or to give feedback.

There is conflict when there are gaps in topics relating to diverse perspectives. It would not be accessible at work in this circumstance to ensure that everyone understands one another. Multiple persons may function as mediators in the issue at hand if disagreements are managed inside an organization. This report examines Walmart Corporation's organizational conflict.
Walmart is a multinational retail corporation based in the United States that operates several groceries, hypermarket, and discount store brands. Walmart's objective is to help people all around the globe save money and live better by providing better services in retail shops and through e-commerce, no matter where they are (Cuofano, 2020). This organization is now involved in a conflict, and it is learning firsthand the benefits and drawbacks of such a situation. The issue arises after the workers had through one of the most thorough evaluation processes available. An audit revealed some discrepancies in staff salary grading and competency in their duties, prompting the appraisal.
There is a lot of anxiety since there are reports that a salary review is coming up soon and that most employees' regular pay will be cut after the study is completed. Most employees are not motivated and leave work a few minutes early or right on time, unwilling to put in longer hours no matter how ineffective they have been. Supervisors frequently complain about tardiness to work and irregularities in task execution.
Subsequently, the communication chain is disrupted. Most employees do not feel obligated to share their ideas with their superiors; hence there is minimal upward communication. Most communication originates at the top of the hierarchical chain, with only a few connections at the bottom. In addit...
