According to Weathington and Weathington (2020), choosing the best job analysis techniques is not an easy undertaking, but one must do the best they can with the budget, time, and resources they have. The job I described is HR recruiter, whose primary functions include identifying potential candidates, carrying out background checks, and updating job ads. The techniques I would use for job analysis, in this case, include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This combination will help me get enough data about the behaviors and tasks associated with the position and the relevant KSAOs.
Through observation, I will be able to gather a few details about an HR recruiter's role. I would observe the interviewing of candidates, job ads, and emails sent to potential candidates.
