For the final leg of this assignment, you will draft a paper designed to help you identify your firm's strength's and weaknesses, recent performance and stock price history, and to explore the various legal and regulatory risks that may be impacting earnings.
Your final firm paper should follow the outline format, and answer the questions, introduced in week 5. Week 5 - Final Firm Paper Outline
Be sure to review the rubric for this assignment to be sure you understand what you are submitting!
You must use citations for this paper!
Some tips:
As mentioned in Week 1 when this assignment was introduced, you should rely heavily on your company's annual securities filings. For those not familiar at this juncture, the best way to find this information is to go to the company's website, look for an "investor relations" tab (often at the bottom), and from there, look for "SEC Filings." Your best bet is the firm's 10k annual report and 10Q quarterly reports.
In addition, you should review your firm's annual report, leadership messages, and other similar material for a sense of how your company operates and what issues it may be facing.
Don't hesitate to use online news sources that are at least somewhat reputable, but do not exclusively rely on these types of articles as they will often lack key information that is only found in the 10K, 10Q, and other similar required filings.
Ask me if you have questions, are struggling, or don't know where to start!

The analysis is integral in understanding the organization and the prospects of the ideal operational environment with which organizations must contend to be sustainable.
Apple’s Competitive Market
Apple operates in an ideal operational environment in which competition is a key factor. Principally, Apple has currently delved in multiple operational environments including both software and hardware. Some of the notable products from Apple’s hardware portfolio include the MacBook, Apple Watch, iPad, iPod, Apple TVs, and iPhone (Jurevicius, 2017). One the software portfolio, Apple runs a software application store for all its software. The organization also runs its devices in its own operating systems including iOS, watch OS, and xOS. Apple also has Microsoft as a major competitor. For decades, Microsoft remained a primary competitor through its respective computer operating systems. Microsoft’s Windows operating system is a leading software in personal computers (Gaus, 2019).
