Have you ever been in a group situation where one or two people do the talking and you feel left out? I have been in such situation and it does not feel good at all. However, sometime back, my colleague at work did the opposite. We had a group project to do and as the leader of the group, he demonstrated high emotional intelligence. In the group meetings, he ensured the concerns, comments, and ideas or every member was taken into consideration. In my opinion, I think he demonstrated emotional intelligence by making every member aware that their opinions and ideas matter.
