Problem and Proposed Project
The proposed project is home delivered meal services targeting the students and people in the surrounding areas where people can place orders and then delivery people can get food from the restaurants and deliver them. Uber Eats delivers food from the restaurants, and it is proposed to work with Uber Eats that there will be a partnership with Uber Eats app such that the students can get their deliveries on time even when restaurants are far away (Dablanc et al
2). Uber Eats change delivery fees and this depends on the distance traveled. Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash are other options for food delivery from restaurants, and their services will be reviewed to determine their effectiveness in facilitating food delivery Home delivered meal services will offer convenience to targeted customers, and they will get what they want rather than be limited to buying what is available within the campus and the surroundings. At the same time, to meet customer needs are prioritized, and Uber Eats is a trusted platform to connect people seeking food delivery from restaurants. The third party delivery mostly charge consumers, and this is part of the bill and also charge to the restaurant (Titone and Goch 292). Students have access to the internet and those using the platform then will order food online that will then be brought to their addresses do not need to wait in restaurants or queue. Online surveys on students will provide insights on what they propose.
