An electronic computing device that is small enough to be handheld, highly portable, with a display screen allowing input through touch or a miniature keyboard, is known as a mobile device (Kroenke, 2005). Mobile devices can therefore be considered to be handheld computers. While most mobile devices are generally designed and built for communication purposes, some of them are more powerful and have the ability to carry out most of the tasks that you can do on a desktop computer or a laptop.
In this century, where mobile devices have evolved to gadgets of great importance and flexibility, mobile systems that allow us to use them are the foundation of their efficiency. Since mobile devices communicate via wireless connections, fast and secure mobile systems must be put in place in order to facilitate communication.
Some of these mobile systems include the Global Positioning System (GPS), cloud technology, phone communication through text message and e-mail sending, satellite communication and the internet (Kroenke, 2005). These days it is even possible to access a desktop computer which is miles away through a smart phone by using remote access technology.
Accessing of documents and storage of data has been made easy by cloud technology while the internet and satellite technology allow business meetings to be held from different offices in different countries through video communication technology.
