Marketing-Consumer Behaviors
The customer perception process is crucial to every brand since it has a significant impact on everything. Customer perception is critical in everything from customer acquisition to communications and advertising, loyalty, purchasing decisions, the extent to which they recommend a brand, and most crucially, advocacy actions. The idea of workbench memory, on the other hand, aids customers in remembering product knowledge long enough to use it. Concentration and following instructions both rely heavily on working memory. This paper discusses the consumer perception process, the concept of workbench memory, and my peak experience.
Description Consumer Perception Is the Process
Consumer perception is how people see a marketing stimulus, organize, analyze, and give meaning to it. The customer perception process is divided into many stages. The first stage in the process is exposure. Advertisements abound on television, radio, and the internet, bombarding consumers. This exposes customers to a variety of things that are currently available on the market. The second step is concentration, which happens when a customer’s gaze stays and provides mental processing capacity to external cues from a product or brand. Consumers pay close attention to signals such as values and select interpretations that are congruent with their behavior. The consumer will withdraw attention if a product is inconsistent with these factors. The third step in the process is interpretation. This stage uses mental constructs known as schemata to provide meaning to the customer’s experience. Schemata are similar to databases of linked data which are used to interpret fresh encounters (Kushwaha et al., 2017). Adaptation is the final process of the consumer perception process. The capacity to adapt to things that don’t change is critical for life because it frees up sensory receptors to notice and respond to vital and informative changes in the environment. The marketer aims to provide positive stimuli in the steps that translate the product or brand information into long-term memory to consumers.
For example, last week, I came upon an advertisement for television on social media. I began to form a perception of television. When a customer sees or learns about a particular product, the consumer perception process begins. In my opinion, customer impression is crucial to every brand since it has an impact on everything. Customer perception is critical in everything from customer identification to communications and advertising.
