Compensation surveys seek to collect information about competitors, and in this case, competitors are the organizations that seek to recruit similar employees as the subject company (Weathington & Weathington, 2020). In Week 2, I created a job description for an HR recruiter and a Recruiting Coordinator for Amazon. While the salary details are not provided on the website of Amazon, according to Salary.com (2021), the average annual salary stands for a recruitment coordinator in the U.S. stands at $67,569, with the range falling between $58,784 and $77,004. When the yearly incentives are taken into consideration, the average total cash compensation becomes $70,214. I also gathered that the expected skill set required for a recruitment coordinator is excellent verbal and written communication skills, Microsoft office suite skills, and social media skills (Amazon, 2021). Amazon requires these skills and at least one year of experience in HR or as a recruiting coordinator. Apart from Amazon, it is apparent that other companies such as Google and Facebook are also searching for a recruitment coordinator, with the primary skills required being the ones I have mentioned.
The recruiter for Facebook must have experience of at least four years and be knowledgeable about applicant tracking systems...
