This paper will describe three methods of web marketing, including keyword advertising, search engine optimization, and E-mail marketing, in the context of strengths and weaknesses, as well as their application s in websites and blogs.
Keyword/Search Advertising
Keyword advertising is a form of web marketing that leverages search engines by utilizing keyword research. Keyword research is a core search engine optimization (SEO) process. SEO entails identifying popular words and phrases people enter into search engines. Researching keywords is a crucial activity because it provides an opportunity for businesses to know the demand as a guide by specific keywords. It enables the business to translate the patterns of keywords into organic search results, which can offer some sense of direction to effort optimization marketing. By determining the keyword searches, which are relevant to given business lines and offerings, a marketer can comfortably place adverts in the search results according to relevant keywords. Thus, search advertising is a way that entails displaying adverts in the search engine results the moment a person searches for specific keywords such that the adverts show perfectly and match the person’s query. Paid search adverts are efficient and are advantageous for the majority of businesses. More often, search adverts services are provided by companies that operate search engines. Thus, these search engine providers can capitalize on their broad user base.
Search advertising comes with a lot of benefits. For example, Google Search Engine, have advantages including unobtrusiveness, resistance to AdBlock, focus on content marketing, provides a remedy for low organic traffic, is appropriate for services that people may often in need urgently, and is well integrated with mobile marketing. Some of the disadvantages of search or keyword advertising revolve around costs and competition. There is a limited number of adverts slots on each search engine result page, especially on the issue of popular search queries and the idea that a search engine provider like Google has what we called transparent Ad Rank and equal playing field in advertising, it results in rising cost of paid adverts.
