My final paper will examine the steps involved in organizing and planning a business enterprise. Further, I will explain how to deal with the growth and other obstacles when running a business. Based on the case study (Oak Harbor Playtown), the paper will demonstrate an understanding of the basics of entrepreneurship. The following essay highlights the seven bibliographies that I will use in my final paper.
Bibliographies
Janney, Jay J. and Dess, Gregory G. "The Risk Concept for Entrepreneurs Reconsidered: New Challenges to the Conventional Wisdom." Journal of Business Venturing 21 (2006): 385-400.
According to Janney and Dess, there are many different definitions of "risks” in the entrepreneur sector. Nonetheless, the authors explain and identify three prevalent entrepreneurship "risk" concepts: risk as opportunity, risk as variance, and risk as downside loss. The bibliography will help identify various risks that an entrepreneur ought to know before venturing into a business.
Truitt, Wesley B. (2004). What Entrepreneurs Need to Know about Government: A Guide to Rules and Regulations. ABC-CLIO.
The author explored and offered a detailed review of how various government restrictions affect business management entrepreneurship. The author aims to demonstrate how entrepreneurs should negotiate government policies and regulations in doing business in all areas of regulation and at various stages in the life cycle of diverse enterprises. I choose this bibliography since the author's vast knowledge and utilization of source data serve as a reference point. My final paper is critical for small firms to understand how to manage government regulations and rules in a less open market.
Calcagnini, G., & Favaretto, I. (2012). Small businesses in the aftermath of the crisis: International analyses and policies. Heidelberg: Physica-Verlag.
The authors want to know how small and medium-sized enterprises react to economic and financial crises and the impact of government actions on them. The authors focus on finance, investment, SME labour markets, and innovation. The authors arrive at their conclusions after doing a policy analysis of worldwide marketplaces and consulting academic institutions. This bibliography will help me understand how policies affect small business decisions during an economic and financial crisis.
Anglund, S. M. (2000). Small business policy and the American creed. Westport, Conn: Praeger.
The author investigates the American government's small company policy since it was created in 1953 and how it has evolved since then. The authors want to explain how the policy was shaped by underlying ideals often referred to as the American Creed. This bibliography will help me to understand how government policies can negatively or positively affect small enterprises.
