Introduction
Water is an essential part of our lives. Being the known "universal solvent," water has many uses, from using it to clean our house, use in agriculture, use it in our farm animals, and drink it by ourselves. The world is composed of 71% water that covers the earth's surface. Only 3% of which is freshwater but only .05% are available for humans to process as drinking water (Bureau of Reclamation, 2020). 
Water Pollution
Water pollution may not be as deadly as air pollution, but it can endanger the ecosystem, affecting humans. Having unsafe water resources can kill plants, animals, and humans more than any form of killing humans and animals (Denchak, 2018).
Water Pollution in the United States
Unfortunately, water pollution is a big problem in many states here in the US. The body of water the US has and in the community tap water that most residents drink. Contaminants like arsenic, lead, and copper can be found on the tap water distributed in the community (Denchak, 2018). Beaufort, South Carolina, Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority is the primary water provider rated yearly by the Consumer Confidence Report or CCR (South Carolina Department and Environmental Control, 2019). According to Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority (2020), small decreases in average and maximum daily production resulted in a decrease of bacterial samples that are analyzed in the laboratory, treated. On the other hand, there is an increase in storage tanks, hydrants, and miles of water. These are reasonable since the demand for water from the factories and commercial buildings is low due to the pandemic. Some businesses and factories got temporarily closed since no one can go to work. However, this cannot forget that the contaminants of the community water system are higher than the health guidelines proposed by the Environmental Working Group or EWG. Tritium is one of the contaminants that are present in the community water system of Beaufort. Tritium is a radioactive element used in nuclear bombs, and drinking water can damage a person lethally (Petersen, 2020). Petersen also added that lower than 20000 parts per trillion which is the level of concern of the Environmental Protection Agency, can also carry health risks. According to the Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority (2020), tritium came from the Savannah River, wherein the water resource of South Carolina.
