Paragraph 1: Introduction
The people of Minneapolis saw the need to create a reinvigorated labor movement which would oversee the needs of all labors. The occurrence of the labor parade, encouraged by the high population of attendees, their political ideologies, and the need to eradicate capitalism made it a success.
Paragraph 2: Evidence
Minneapolis had a higher population compared to that of Stoneham. Therefore, this made it easy for their ideas to dominate the city. In the year 1885, the city had grown a population of 130000. Twenty thousand of them were always ready to turn out for a labor parade hence increasing the possibilities of creating reforms. The 1887 parade was a display of the labor movement's strength.
