What is the difference between sustainable and unsustainable development?
Sustainable development is all about organizing things in order to meet a specific target or to achieve a goal (Primack & Sher, 2016). In other words, we can say that sustainable development is a form of development that fulfills the requirements of the present without any compromise on the ability of future generations. The concept of sustainable development has always been a subject to criticism, including questions like what has to be sustained and when to sustain. On the other hand, unsustainable development exists when the progress of the present is at the expense of future generations. For instance, if we replace forests with commercial centers and residential colonies, then this may benefit us for now, but in the future, it will cause an environmental problem and will make the survival of our children difficult.
What are the differences and similarities between conservation: easements, leasing, banking, and concessions?
Conservation is the efficient use or preservation of resources, such as natural gas, oil, and coal. If these natural resources are not used wisely or are not preserved, then it may become impossible for us to obtain energy in the coming months (Primack & Sher, 2016). An easement can be defined as the right to use or enter into the property of another person without any intention to possess it. Leasing means signing a contract or an agreement that is meant to urge the lessee (user) to pay the lessor (owner) something for using their asset. Banking is an industry that is responsible for handling cash, credit and other financial transactions. The concession is the contractual right to carry on a specific type of business in an area.
