Laurie Anderson’s song entitled O Superman was a favorite song during the 80s. Despite its different taste and appeal than that of its contemporaries, it was awarded the 2nd place in the UK Single’s Charts. Nonetheless, upon hearing the song, I found out that this level of achievement is not surprising due to the song’s musicality and its theme. Concerning musicality, two alternating chords, composed of ‘HA’s’ could be heard in the background. These chords serve as the primary accompaniment throughout the song, with another string (yet sounds synthetic) instrument playing.
