Dear Apple Music Team,
The past two years have been very challenging, not only for the company but also for the whole team. Before the pandemic, we were able to work together, share ideas easily and efficiently, and maintain a good and stimulating work environment. In the past few months, however, we have experienced difficulties adjusting to our work lifestyles, a significant shift in our work schedules, and a reduction in our team’s interaction compared to how we were beforehand.
Nonetheless, our team has always been strong and resilient through time. Even though we were working from the comforts of our homes, we maintained good communication and sharing of ideas through alternative modes of communication. We were also highly productive despite the challenges of COVID-19 and even were able to develop new leaders within our team.
Despite our successes as a team, it is unfortunate that the whole company has experienced a significant decline in productivity, which endangers our capability to continue working with our own projects. Unfortunately, this could affect our project as a team and the company’s capability to provide us with the necessary budget and funding for our benefits. Thus, I regret to inform you that the only solution that the company can think of as of now is to have all its employees work from the offices starting in four weeks from the time that I am writing this email.
