As the Group Speech guidelines mention, when you prepare for the upcoming informative speeches, it will be really beneficial to focus on organization. Just as an unorganized essay is difficult to read, an unorganized speech is difficult to listen to. If you think about it, you've probably all encountered public speakers whose lack of organization negatively impacted his or her message. In contrast, can you think of any speakers whose ideas were well organized and easy to follow? What techniques did the well-organized speakers use to structure and communicate their ideas? Not everybody can deliver a captivating speech. Former United States President Barack Obama is one of the public and political speakers I envy in speech making. Almost all his speeches attract the audience's attention. I attribute Obama's oratory skills to certain techniques. First, Obama envelops his point in a story.
