The Social Dilemma is an American documentary that warns of the adverse effects of technological advancement. This drama-documentary hybrid evaluates the undesired impacts of communal networking, with technical professionals sounding the agitation on their formations. It also concentrates on how prominent social media firms employ technology to exploit audiences and promote addiction to their sites. It also depicts, reasonably accurately, how networks collect personal data to manipulate consumers with advertisements – and how they have effectively remained unchecked to this point.
