Do the specific ideas of ancient science seem reasonable to you? Or do you think they were stupid or crazy to believe what they did? What do you think?
Some of the ideas were good as they were based on observations such as the Pythagoras theorem, as were the astronomical periods. There was a collection of ancient sciences. Among the most prominent were ancient Greek astronomers, Egyptian scientists, and Roman scientists, focusing on philosophy, medicine, mathematics, optics, and even theology. While some ideas were good, others were crazy and bizarre as they were not based on observation but wrong beliefs about the world.-- Did religious belief play a role in the thought of ancient philosophers?
Religious beliefs influence the ancient philosophers as they sought explanations about the world, people, and nature. The philosophers mostly lived in societies where there were various gods and goddesses. Different philosophers tried to understand the origin of man, the universe, and the question of mortality.
