Peer Review Discussion: Literature & Language Coursework

Coursework Instructions:

Step One: Post (copy and paste) your Paper 1 introduction and thesis no later than midnight on Thursday of this week! If you like, you can also add a short note that identifies areas you are struggling with or would particularly like people to focus on. Note: You do not need to include a Works Cited for this, but if you include a quotation or paraphrase from the stories, you must include an in-text citation.
Step Two: Then respond to at least two of your classmates, answering the following questions about their draft:
Read through the draft once for a first impression. What is your overall impression after your initial reading?
After reading the text again more slowly, summarize the writer's main claim in your own words. In other words, tell us what the writer's main argument is. Does their main argument seem reasonable and logical given your understanding of the stories they are writing about? Explain why. Or, if their argument seems confusing, explain why you think that is.
Is the introduction logically organized? Does the paragraph flow logically to the thesis statement, which should be at the end of the introduction?
If the writer has used quotations, are they integrated appropriately? Has the writer used proper MLA format for in-text citations? If not, identify the spots they should examine as they revise.
Identify two things you think the writer did well and tell them why.
Make sure your comments, questions, or suggestions for your classmates are thoughtful and detailed. Do not look only for typos or citation issues - these are not the main focus for the peer review
I have included my paper outline and will include the two other posts to respond to
