The individualized family service plan (IFSP) is designed to attain children's individual concerns, priorities, and needs. It states the family's anticipated outcomes for their infant and themselves and details the initial intervention supports and services to help achieve those outcomes. In order to develop the present levels portion of the plan effectively, I would connect different types of qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data would entail the child's cognitive skills (learning, reasoning, thinking), communication skills (communicating with others, understanding, and expressing themselves with others), and adaptive skills (feeding, toileting, and bathing).
