The U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRACOM) initiates the necessary command and control efforts to prevent strategic attacks. It also employs strategic techniques to guarantee the nation's and allies' security (LeMay Center, 2020, pg.20). USSTRACOM is responsible for missile threat assessment, nuclear operations, NC3 enterprise operations, global strikes, and electromagnetic spectrum operations (Adam Lowther, 2019, pg.3).
