As a result, leaders are forced to set very high personal and professional goals for themselves, which need to be achieved within the shortest time, which may lead to them overloading themselves, resulting in burnout. I have been a victim of burnout in the past. The burnout was mainly a result of work-life imbalance. At the time, work-life was taking much of my time and effort. I did not have enough time to rest or spend with family and friends, which drained my energy.
