The movie, Get Out is about a black man, Chris Washington, who almost loses his freedom after getting manipulated by his white girlfriend. The movie is a cultural work because it depicts a modern form of slavery. The activity at Armitage is an imitation of what used to occur during the slave era (Nurhadi, 2019).
