To have a sound financial plan - I need to identify the money beliefs (money scripts) that I have learned over time and how they influence my daily financial habits. Some of these money beliefs that I relate to are Money Avoidance and Money Vigilance. I learned the importance of developing a spending plan (budget) that should specify the various income resources at my disposal; some include wages, donations, and gifts, government assistance, community services such as public library and transportation.
Setting SMART money/financial goals is important for my financial libration. These financial goals should be specific, measurable, agreed upon, realistic, and time-bound. Specificity in my financial goals will help me visualize and achieve them. In addition to this, they should be based on my current income, time, and resources. They should be measurable to track my progress in achieving them.
