According to Investopedia (n.d.), the Theory of Comparative Advantage is “an economic law referring to the ability of any given economic actor to produce goods and services at a lower opportunity cost than other economic actors”. I agree with this statement for the differences in opportunity costs brought about by differing capacities produces goods creates a differentiation in the costs of production. In the international level, these economic actors are countries who have different costs for production, which leads to differences in terms of opportunity cost. Perhaps some good examples of this would be China and USA in the production of Nike Shoes and Mexican worker working in one of the Gap and Wal-mart sweatshops in Mexico.
