The middle of the story explains how such events led to riots in the Stonewall, and the end is the climax of the riots.

The story is being told by members of the LGBTQ society who experienced Stonewall's ordeal and the negativities they were being subjected to by society. These people express feelings of sadness regarding what they went through. The story is also being told by reporters and people from the police department who witnessed the events. The Stonewall event played a major role in inspiring the feelings of the narrators.
