The Florida Star is a newspaper that publishes information on the goings-on around the area, particularly having a specific portion on police reports. These reports are usually based on the information they receive from the police. Florida sheriff’s department prepared a report of sexual assault and was placed in the press room and the information had all the details of the victim, such as the victim's full name. The department did not restrict access to the room; therefore, anyone who entered the room could access the information.
