The Constitution is the backbone of the United States Federal Government. Through the help of research, one will understand the significance of the events in drafting the Constitution. In line with this, the primary objectives of this research include the following: 1) To understand the association between the constitution-making process, the public participation, and majority rule; and 2) To gather information to justify the validity of the Constitution in setting the age limit of the individuals who desire to run for a public office.
Introduction
The Constitution represents the government of a country. In turn, the government represents its people; thus, it is the government's responsibility to guarantee the safety of its people and exemplify their interests through the promulgation of laws. History shows the diversity of the public officials and the events during the drafting of the Constitution. The liberals and republicans have opposing values that address various issues uniquely. The citizens of a democratic country are the forerunners of its Constitution; hence, the citizens have the right to have a full grasp on their representation in the law.
To understand the representation of the people in a government, one must comprehend the process of drafting the U.S. Constitution and public officials responsible for writing them. Additionally, one must know how to analyze the relationship of the leadership of those holding a position in the public office and the proposition of the laws and amendments.
