Virtual Care Strategies Allow the Marginalized Communities
In order to address health care access disparities among the marginalized populations in the community, the healthcare administrator should redefine the hospital to serve these communities and patients best, create new models of collaboration and care, address value and affordability, and advance health initiatives across the United States (U.S.). This includes developing a pathway to commitment within five areas: coordination, wellbeing, partners, value, and access. The healthcare administrator must ensure all people have access to equitable and affordable care and social and behavioral services, offer higher value to clients, embrace individuals’ diversity, and serve stakeholders within their wellbeing, including linking them with feasible avenues within the digital era. They should also ensure that the healthcare system emphasizes partnerships and wellbeing within community facilities and integrate and coordinate care. Redefining the hospital would ensure my service addresses marginalized populations’ health care needs by emphasizing quality improvement, the shift from volumes to value, and community health management (Bhatt & Bathija, 2018).
