Introduction
This research is intended to analyze various articles to enhance literature review while making a comparison of; research questions, sample population, and limitations of the study. The purpose of this study is to look at how the questions, sample, and limitation of study influence the foundation of a literature review. They should provide a proper insight on how they will influence the formulation of a literature review. They should as well be realistic to the context of the study.
Comparison of Research questions
There are eight articles with each having its questions to address nursing shortages. These questions are the basis of a literature review in any research. In the first article, the student identifies how a review of strategies can be done to enhance a positive practice environment in a setting or the clinic. In the second article, the student establishes how effective and contemporary policy action can address the nursing shortage. Comparing the two questions, the question in second forms a better base for the research literature review because it provides a wide view of nursing shortage which translates to patients suffering (Johnson et al., 2016).
The question in the third article is on how a comprehensive model of nursing can be developed as well as demands in nursing and the intentions behind leaving their profession. The question in the fourth article seeks to determine how nurses extended hours influence the organizational outcome. If a comparison is made on both questions, the question in the third article can act as a better question in coming up with a comprehensive literature review because if demands are addressed then the factor of nurses (Aboshaiqah, 2016). Leaving the profession fades away.
The question in the fifth article is to identify impact and factors influencing nurses' migration from one state to another, whereas the question in article six is to investigate the cause of nurses' shortage and coming up the solutions to address the same. Comparing the two questions, the question in article five forms a better argument for a literature review because it is wide and tries to look exhaustively on the whole health situation.
The question in article seven is to identify whether delaying retirement for registered nurses could increase the nursing workforce. The question in article eight is to identify the cause of registered nurse shortage and their cyclical responses. When compared, the question in article eight portrays more sense because if the retirement is delayed, then the quality of services will be compromised.
When comparing all questions in all articles and determining a question that would set a good foundation for a good literature review, the question in article five is best suited because it is a question if addressed can provide a long lasting solution to the ailing health sector (Li et al., 2014).
Comparison of Sample Populations
There are different sample populations that the student has addressed in various articles. In article one the sample was taken from registered ages, the status of employees and hours they have worked. The sample in the second art...
