Quality and Service Equation among Patients
In an instance where patients equate the quality of services offered within a health institution with the quality of care, the use of surveys and research may be used in changing this perception. In most cases, several organizations use the traditional approach in assessing the perception of patients through the use of evaluations based on observations and feedback (Odom, Stewart, & Grumbach, 2016). However, having patients to complete surveys remains a significant effort in collecting data that establishes the views of the patients in what a medical organization is doing rightly and some of the things that are done wrongly. The inclusion of this approach remains effective in improving the quality of care and medical services since it ensures that changes are made from the data obtained during a survey or research in bettering the services of an organization.
