Congenital torticollis comprises of a third of all congenital muscular abnormalities. This condition involves the sternocleidomastoid muscles (SCM) and is common following birth and a few weeks after birth. The SCM represents thick muscles of the neck that serve as a primary neck landmark during extraoral examinations (Fehrenbach & Herring, 2009). Physiotherapy is known to play a critical role in correcting the dysfunction or quickening the recovery from the condition after surgical operation.
