After I spoke with my mentor, the financial component of the project would involve hours attempting to get the nurses educated on the proposed regulations and guidelines for the late preterm infants. Hours will be necessary to acquire the basic checklist implemented into the monitoring systems in this specific area, which will involve funding approvals from the committees in the health institution (Titler, 2008). Additionally, this will take more than one nurse to ensure that the nurses get this task completed since it will require additional hours of pay.
The clinical aspect will be associated with the quality aspect of the proposed project. Here this will include the development of the project and the manner that the nurses will accept and understand the need of the project. As healthcare practitioners, the nurses will continuously encounter new and critical knowledge that is essential for their patients (Titler, 2008). For the quality aspect, the proposed project will have a supervisor that will ensure that the nurses in the institution will remain alert to the clinical issues in the project.
