DateBRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSED PRACTICE EXPERIENCEAS RELATED TO THE COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMESHoursTo understand the link between leadership and stewardship in the workplace I interviewed leaders while observing how leadership affects organizational change. The administrators highlighted practices that only motivate the employees but make it easier to get things done in the clinical set up. Setting up the interview was crucial to determine how the administrators used the leadership opportunities to achieve success. I identified open communication as one of the crucial aspects to undertaking change, given the need to have mutual trust between the leaders and the other people. 3The case for understanding the relationship between power and politics in nursing, is that the political system influences policymaking. Politics affects different aspects of nursing practice especially when allocating the limited resources. Engaging nurses to implement the health policies is one such aspect, and leaders leverage their power to influence (Pollard, & Wild, 2014). For the college committee meetings, power and politics is present when influencing the adoption changes and framing issues the more powerful individuals engage to affect the outcome of these meetings, and this is especially when they demonstrate expertise and their knowledge about specific initiatives while using communication skills to engage colleagues.
