The previous and the current years have been devastating due to the COVID-19 pandemic, undermining public health (Schuchat, Covid & Team, 2020). The virus racing worldwide emerged as one of the top killer diseases showing the health systems' inadequacies and the need for more policies to be put in place to help manage the virus. Therefore, COVID-19 is the chosen public health issue for this project, and more specifically, the project will explore the effects of COVID-19 on mental health in Pennsylvania adults.
2 Economic Forces: Briefly describe some economic forces related to your public health issue.
Macroeconomic Forces:
COVID-19 itself is a negative macroeconomic force that has threatened both global and national economies. Other related macro-economic forces related to the public health issue include increased price levels and a high level of unemployment.
Microeconomic Forces:
The micro-economic forces related to COVID-19 include healthcare capacity, living conditions, infrastructure, and public transportation. These forces have played a role in the rapid spread of COVID-19.
