Medical tourism has gradually grown to become a norm in the present age.People are moving from their respective countries to go seek for medical attention in other countries that provide such services with high professionalism while keeping the cost low,such as India, South Africa and Mexico (Rosenthal, 2013).There are many costs and benefits that are associated with medical tourism and the subsequent technology involved.
Medical tourism provides an avenue to access cheaper but expert medical attention. It is very beneficial to the individual, especially if one is coming from the western countries where the cost of specialized healthcare is exorbitant. In these other countries, such as India, there is the advantage of being treated by highly qualified experts, with very specialized machines, at a friendly cost.
