To ensure the workplace relationship between the organizations and staff is smooth and effective, both parties sign an agreement (contract). The contract guides rules and regulations to preserve an orderly system of effective employer-employee relationships and offers collaborative solutions for addressing problems. At Astria Sunnyside Hospital, registered nurses (RN) abided by key areas of contracts that enable them to work effectively. The following key areas of an RN contract include education, leave of absence, medical and retirement benefits, management rights and holidays.
Education is one of the effective and important areas of the contract for registered nurses. Every registered nurse is responsible for continuing education requirements and needs. There are continuing education funds that one receives for the first time (Astria Sunnyside Hospital & Washington State Nurses Association, 2023). Furthermore, there are clearly defined meetings essential for enhancing the clinical skills of the RN. Also, training and orientation is another critical program that is important for improving my skills and knowledge to work effectively in the hospital.
