Professional Conduct as an Educator  Part 1:Students, Students' Families, Coworkers, Administrators All students, despite their racial, economic, or social background, will be supported to realize their potential as productive members of society (NASDTEC, 2021). The educator enhances effective and appropriate relationships with parents and guardians to promote students learning. Exhibiting respect and civility to colleagues, despite their racial, cultural, ethnic, social, or political differences. Advocate for an environment of collaboration and promote policies that make the institution conducive for parents, students, and colleagues.
The educator should treat all students with unreasonable restrains from acting as they pursue their learning goals. There must be a commitment to equality, inclusion, and equity, respecting and accommodating the diverse views of the school community, especially guardians and parents. Conflicts arising with colleagues must be resolved privately and respectfully based on the jurisdiction's policies or regulations. Ensure that people are assigned roles based on their credentials and refrain from applying for positions with false or fake credentials.
Students will be encouraged to have varying perspectives or opinions from the educators. There is a need to maintain confidentiality on students' information disclosed by parents or guardians and ensure that appropriate support is offered to the student. Be willing to share educational records with colleagues to promote students' safety, education, and health in line with local policies. No information about colleagues or institutions shall be misrepresented in public and private contexts. The educator shall do anything within his ability to safeguard students from any harmful environment or other risks that jeopardize their learning. Advocate for policies, laws, and standards that can enhance educational outcomes and promote collaboration with parents and guardians in learning (Raudys, 2018). Partner and collaborate with colleagues to promote academic outcomes and achievement of learning goals in the best interest of learners (NEA, 2020). Offer support services to the administrators in line with assigned work responsibilities and local policies. Educators will refrain from making embarrassing and disparaging comments about their performance, identity, culture, race, learning, or political affiliation.
