Introduction
Understanding the role of cultural diversity within the workplace is essential for everyone. It allows them to appreciate better the dynamics between various communities in our modern-day society and use methods to diversify our knowledge about the same further. Accordingly, this paper will focus on the results of my survey regarding cultural and linguistic competency. Notably, my survey results showed that I am highly aware and adaptive of the various cultures or various individuals in the workplace.
Physical Environment, Materials, and Resources
My survey results for this portion suggests that I am highly aware and reflective of the variety of culture. Notably, most of my answers reflect that I do these things occasionally or to a moderate degree (Option B), whereas there were only two items where I answered 'Things I rarely do' (Option C). For example, some of the things that I often do are choose materials, books, stories, and even films that reflect other people's culture. In fact, within our family and our peers, I usually encourage them to try out new films that reflect cultures' cultural traditions and realities other than the dominant popular culture in the place where we belong.
