After watching the YouTube video about “Still Face Experiment” by Dr. Edward Tronick, I discovered that my relationship with children in the classroom is essential since it influences the learning experience of the children. From the video, babies and young children are usually very responsive to reactivity, emotions, and social interaction they receive from the world around them. The experiment demonstrates how responsive child is to their parents and caregivers. They communicate through gestures, pointing, making sounds, as the caregivers engage, and play with them. The baby could coordinate her emotions and intentions as the mother engaged her.
